Northeast Texas Teacher Recognized

On August 3, 2024, the Texas Air & Space Forces Association (AFA), Aerospace Education Foundation, recognized teacher Taylor (Kline) Lulashnyk as runner up in the Texas-wide Teacher of the Year and awarded her a certificate and five-hundred dollars.

Taylor teaches math at Greenville, Texas, Early College High School and was selected as the Northeast Texas, AFA Chapter 416, Teacher of the Year in March 2024. Her nomination was then submitted for competition in the Texas competition. She is an outstanding teacher and highly deserving of recognition. Taylor Kline married Kelly Lulashnyk in July 2024. Texas AEF Treasurer, Ric Hamer, provided remarks and talked about how strong the teachers nominated this past year were and how fortunate we were to have such dedicated people willing to take on training our youth. “Taylor is a tribute to our nation, the state, and her Greenville community,” said Hamer.

Northeast Texas President Vance Clarke and chapter member Rich Holsinger attended the event to cheer on Taylor and her award. She was also presented with a new 2024, chapter coin for her accomplishments.

The event was attended by Congressman Keith Self, TX-03, where he provided remarks about the recognition provided to teachers and others at the event.
