December 12, 2025 – Rockwall, TX — Northeast Texas Chapter 416 of the Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) advanced its Advocate to Inspire Military Service (AIMS) initiative by hosting Maj. Allie “Dallas” Zillweger, Commander of the 352nd Recruiting Squadron located at Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, in Rockwall, TX.
Chapter Secretary Chad Chaffee, a former Air Force and Reserve pilot, and Treasurer Vance Clarke, met with Maj. Zillweger to share AIMS strategies and highlight the chapter’s community engagement. Following their discussion, Maj. Zillweger joined the chapter at Rockwall’s Gene Burton College and Career Academy (GBCCA) for a CyberPatriot competition event.
Maj. Zillweger’s Command, 352nd Recruiting Squadron

Maj. Allie Dallas Zillweger leads 120 recruiters across 50 geographically separated locations in 19 states, coordinating with 37 Wing Commanders to meet manpower requirements. “We cover AFR recruiting from the Gulf of Mexico north to Canada, and from Colorado to Kansas,” she explained, underscoring the vast scope of her responsibility.
Individual and Chapter Engagement, AFA AIMS Efforts
Clarke, who also serves as AFA’s national AIMS Co-Chair, outlined how AFA chapters can positively influence recruiting by inspiring military service at both local and national levels. Chaffee reinforced the chapter’s ongoing outreach, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between community organizations and recruiters. Learn how to help here.
“It takes local and national efforts by individuals and organizations to support recruiters across the country,” Clarke noted. “Our goal is to be a positive force multiplier for their mission.”
CyberPatriot Competition
The visit coincided with Rockwall ISD’s state-level CyberPatriot competition, where Northeast Texas sponsors five teams at GBCCA. Coaches Jeff Burkham, a former Air Force pilot, and teacher Melissa Bunch provide mentorship and guidance, helping students gain valuable cybersecurity experience that translates into college and career opportunities.
The chapter supports the teams with funding and encouragement, often providing refreshments and cheering them on at competitions. Chapter President Zach Hill and Chaffee have joined in past events to motivate students as they pursue success, learning, and fun.

Call to Action
Northeast Texas cannot cover the vast recruiting area of the 352nd Squadron alone. AFA members and chapters nationwide are encouraged to connect with recruiters in their regions. The AIMS Guide offers practical ideas for how chapters can collaborate with recruiting teams to inspire future Airmen and Guardians.
“Look at where the recruiters are located,” Clarke urged. “You may be able to help in ways you haven’t considered.” Find USAFR Recruiting Offices here.
