Inspire Military Service

Northeast Texas is working to inspire military service to increase awareness of the opportunities, benefits, and the need to have highly qualified youth serving in our Air & Space Forces as Airmen and Guardians. Chapter members are working with the Air Force Recruiting Service leadership and recruiters along with our community to spread the word about serving in this capacity.

If interested, you can find out more, view tools, and learn how to Opt-In as a volunteer here.

Importance of Inspiring Military Service

Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force #19, Joanne Bass, spoke on the importance of AFA and the efforts it is undertaking to inspire military service during a visit to the University of Texas, Arlington, visit in 2024. The brief video gives her perspective or the importance of AFA Chapter efforts to bolster our Air & Space Forces.

Wreaths Across America supports veterans and activities to honor and inspire military service. WAA is working with the Air & Space Forces Association to do a series of podcasts that will highlight the service of Airmen & Guardians. Our communities place wreaths on veteran grave sites in coordination with WAA. There are also educational programs for K-12 listed on their site. Thank you to WAA for partnering to educate the public, advocate for our veterans, and for supporting our ‘Inspire Military Service’ initiative.
